PRESIDENT’S
MESSAGE
The holidays
are over, the snow is falling, and the temperature is freezing.
However, Punxsutawney Phil says
spring is right around the corner. Plan a spring getaway and join
us for our upcoming meeting on March 23rd. Margaret Clarke, our
Central Virginia Coordinator, and the planning committee have done a
spectacular job in organizing this very interesting
conference.
I am very excited to
announce the location of the ARN 33rd
Annual Educational Conference, Reshaping Our Future,
October 3-6, 2007 in Washington
Washington, DC. ARN members will receive a conference brochure
in May. If you are not a member and would like to be added to the
mailing list, please call ARN at 800/229-7530.
How would you
like to become a member of the VARN board? We are always looking
for new members with fresh and innovative ideas. If you may be
interested, take a look at our VARN website for board contact
information. Get in touch with someone from your area and join us

you as a VARN member.
Thank you, Liz
Hunt, for planning an interesting and informative November meeting.
The vocational center was a great location. For those of you who
did not make it to the meeting, the high school culinary students
prepared all the food. We even had delicious “home made” muffins
for breakfast!
I hope to see
you in March. If you are interested in hosting or coordinating a
meeting in the Winchester, Charlottesville or Lynchburg areas please
contact the board.
Thank-you,
Wendi Harris
